Dirty Water slings some mud..

Race 6, Friday @ Hazel Park.

1) CHARMABULL…pace factor, has been working well for this one…contender.

2) BOBGOTTHEPOWER…PW runner showed nothing in debut…will have to improve big time to win here.

3) M C DANCER…lost 4 lifetime starts by 120+ lengths…nuff said.

4) QUICK SELECTION…expect big improvement from house horse in second try, with T. D. in the irons…lots of pace for him to run into…has a chance.

5) FAST PUNCHINRICHIE…pace factor just can’t seem to hold on…maybe in the money, but don’t see a win.

6) MACHO ORO…another pace factor with two pretty good efforts…contends once more.

7) QUICK MICK…FTS…tote will tell a lot.

ON THE RIGHT LEAD VOL.3

In the words of Partner Terri, “I could get used to this!” What a great performance Friday night by Queen Kitten….another outstanding job by PW and his staff getting her ready to go…as always, thanks, Patrick ! Excellent ride by Jeff Skerrett…with our current success, we are seeing more interest from the top jocks in riding for Flying G, and that is a very good thing. What is equally exciting for me, is seeing the versatile running styles being shown by our horses…I’ve watched Norris’ recent win over and over again, and continue to be amazed at his run from off the pace. As solid as his career has been, we just hadn’t seen him rate like that before. I attribute that to (1) the patience and work of PW, Hershel, and the entire PW staff (2) the intelligence of Norris himself…he is making the necessary adjustments. We saw the same ability to relax and rate from Queen on Friday night…again, patient handling + experience = a trip to the winners’ circle.

Huge congratulations to our Stable Manager and fearless leader, Scott…Queen Kitten is the ninth horse syndicated by Flying G, and the ninth to reach the Winners’ Circle…that is both a REMARKABLE and AMAZING stat. Think about the number of t-breds foaled each year and how many never even make it to the races. And of the ones that do make it, how many ever win…Thanks, Boss…keep up the good work…we all appreciate it.

And while we’re at it, let’s give a well-deserved shout out to Sharon B….with all that Scott does to make FG a success, he has to have first-class support, and we all know Sharon provides that, so thanks to you, Mrs. B. !!

Would be interested in hearing from partners on how they got hooked on this game we all love so much…in my case, my Dad worked out at Suffolk Downs…was in charge of concession stands. As I recall, I could read the DRF before I could get through a couple of pages of Dick and Jane. My Dad always dreamed of owning a horse, but was never able to do so…but I know he was looking down from above at the Hazel Park Winners’ Circle the past two Friday Nights with pride…yes, we did it, Dad, we did it !

I figure we have either some very good handicappers here, who do not wish to share, or some very bad handicappers here, who do not wish to share. Come on folks, let’s share those tips and angles. Here is a quick one using the e-ponies sheets I mentioned last time…out of his four top-rated horses in a particular race, play the one with the highest morning line odds…some nice payoffs…

TRIVIA…In the match race in which the great filly Ruffian tragically broke down, what colt was she running against?

FOOD FOR THOUGHT…there are currently 7 or 8 tracks running concurrent meets in the mid-Atlantic area…is this good or bad for racing?

Later,

Rich

Joanne Putnam RivicciMy grandfather owned trotters and my grand uncle drove trotters and my uncle trained my grandfather's and others horses. The memories of those 4 am drives to the track on weekends and summers grooming and helping out the stable are the things that never leave me. I love horseracing and actually like thoroughbred racing better. Brings me back to my youth.

I love the environment that Coach White has provided for her and all of our horses.
It WILL pay dividends with time!

Happy Birthday wishes from us all at Flying G to Stephanie.

The only way people like us could race, is to have people like you, that provide our former Graduates with a loving home. Shown here with Nan Cee Cee Flies, who looks amazing! Thank You Stephanie smile emoticon
