Flying G Racing is proud to announce the newest addition to our Roster.
Only I Know by Flower Alley out of Cuz Only I Know
This Flower Alley is the horse with the most potential based on breeding by far of any horse to ever be a part of Flying G. The noise coming out of the WV Accredited college about this one is all pointing to big things in the near future.
Where do I begin with the breeding? Sire Flower Alley, the same sire of 2012 Kentucky Derby winner I’ll Have Another and his 3yr old class of 2012 is second to none. Stud fee for 2013 is around 20k for Flower Alley and there is no better value in the racing business right now.
Let’s take a look at the dam side: Take a look at Cuz You Never Know’s filly Monono. In 2012, she had three wins in a row all allowance races over multiple surfaces. Ridden by Richard Eramia, Monono dropped in from Grade 2 company to set a stakes record in the $70,000 Orleans, winning by 1 3/4 lengths over Minesave. She covered seven furlongs around two turns in 1:26.04.(Read more at DRF.com.) With this in mind the options for Only I Know are limitless. This horse is a dream in the making. Only I Know is doing very well and with no setbacks he will get his first timed works by early May and we hope a start in the M.S.W Ranks by mid June at the latest. Ronney said he is moving forward rapidly and he really likes what he has seen thus far. If all goes as we hope, we will enter him in the 2yr stake on WV Derby day.
